Luang Prabang is known as the ‘Thousand Pagoda City’, there are countless intriguing architectural highlights in the sleepy and once royal capital. In the morning visit the city’s oldest temple, WatSene and the impressive WatXiengthong. Take a cruise up the Mekong to the Pak Ou Caves, pass spectacular views. Explore the caves crammed with thousands of golden Buddha statues. Visit Ban Xangkhong village, famed for its silk hand weaving and traditional Saa paper making. also see the magnificent stupa of WatVisoun. Climb to the top of Mount Phousi for panoramic views of the city, the surrounding countryside and the Mekong Delta at sunset.Night in Luangprabang

Visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, Hmong Village and Ban Thapene, Khmu Village, then drive to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the turquoise pools or walk along the forest trails.
