Day (01) Arrive Yangon

Let’s start with Yangon, a city crowned by the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda. It is pretty warm in Yangon, feel the welcome hot moist breeze on arrival at Yangon International Airport. Our experienced guide will meet and welcome you at the Airport. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day (02) Yangon Sightseeing (B)

Start time: 8:00 AM – End time: 6:00 PM
Your first stop is one of the city’s morning markets. Amble through the colorful stalls where all sorts of fresh items – from tropical fruits, vegetables, meats and even live fish are on offer. Interspersed amongst the fresh items are small shops selling breakfast snacks and noodles. You will have local breakfast rice noodle fish soup called Mot HinKhar .Then, transfer to railway station &hop aboard the circular train in Yangon for an authentic experience of the city and its suburbs, immerse in the local life, the loop connects several satellite towns and suburban neighborhoods. Then, disembark to downtown area; City Hall, Independent Monument at the MaharBandula Park near Sule Pagoda, the Court Office and the Customs House, located along the Strand Road where most colonial buildings stand today as colonial heritage sites. And, enjoy visiting at Bogyoke Market for your souvenir shopping. Then, visit World Famous Dazzling Shwedagon (2600 Years old). Overnight at hotel.

Day (03) Yangon-Heho-Kalaw-Community Trails Trekking (Soft Trail) (B, L)

Start time: 8:00 AM – End time: 6:00 PM/Flying hours:1 hour and 20 minutes(estimated)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport. Flight to Heho. Arrive Heho & drive to Kalaw. Arrive the hotel in Kalaw & Check-in.
Walk to Nanthe Village from Kalaw (approx. 1hour). Visit primary school which is our immediate next door (30 minute). From here we visit local Buddhist monastery, which is our immediate neighbor (30 minute). After spending some time chatting with monk over green tea we then walk to Nanthe (Danu tribe) village (approx. 15 minute). Here we visit a library donated by the lodge and interact with locals over a cup of green tea (one hour). From here we walk to Nanthe (Nepalese) village (approx. 10 minute) where we explore the village and visit household industry making rice and plum wine process (one hour). If wish we could taste local brew wine. Later we travel back to Kalaw. Total walking hours (4 hours). Validity: throughout the year except June & July

Day (04) Morning Activities & Yoga (Soft)– Relaxing Day (B, L, D)

Day (05) Kalaw –Inle (B)

Start time: 8:00 AM – End time: 6:00 PM
Vegetarian Breakfast at hotel. Visit the colorful morning market in Kalaw. Then, drive to NyaungShwe where Jetty of Inle Lake is located. In NyaungShwe, visit Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery: a beautiful red-painted teak building dated back to the 19th century.
Transfer to Jetty of Inle Lake (nestled amidst hazy blue mountains is the beautiful Inle Lake 900 meter above sea level) where you can study Inthar tribes’ and their local ways of life. Boat trip to Inle Lake sightseeing including: Phaungdawoo Pagoda, Cotton & Silk Hand Weaving & Cheroot Making. On the way, you will see & pass through floating villages, Inthar traditional style fishing method. Overnight at hotel.

Day (06) Inle-Indein Sightseeing (B)

Start time: 8:00 AM – End time: 6:00 PM
Breakfast at hotel.Then, boats down a small canal leading to the Pa-oh village of Indein. After that, you will have canoeing experience. Your canoe will explore over the lake through the canals, among the stilt houses and floating gardens of the Intha people who live on the lake. Many villagers will greet you by waving from their houses and boats. Then, we’ll visit a local village to have tea and a view some of the local cottage industries. In the evening, back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day (07) Inle-Heho-Mandalay-Mingun-Mandalay (B)

Start time: 8:00 AM – End time: 6:00 PM/Flying hour:35 minutes(estimated)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Heho Airport. Flight to Mandalay. Arrive Mandalay Airport & excursion to Mingun by Boat, visit Pa HtoDawGyi (Unfinished Magnificent Temple); Mingun Bell (World Biggest Ringing Bell about 90 ton); World Biggest Lions Ancient Ruined); MyaThein Tan Pagoda and then, back to Mandalay. We will visit Royal Palace, ShweKyaung (Golden Monastery), world UNESCO Kuthodaw Pagoda (the world biggest book) and sunset at Mandalay Hill. Overnight at hotel.

Day (08) Mandalay-Amarapura-AVA-Mandalay (B)

Start time: 8:00 AM – End time: 6:00 PM
Breakfast at hotel.We will bring you famous Jade Market. Myanmar is one of the top places to buy authentic Jade and the Jade Market is the place where you can buy freshly cut pieces. Then, drive to Amarapura ,Mahaghandayon monastery which is the biggest Monastery in Myanmar over 1000 monks. Then, visit Mahamuni Buddha Image (Exalted Saint Buddha Image heavily gilded with gold leaf brought over from Arakan State in 1784), Gold Leaf Making Workshop, Handicraft Work shops. Proceed to AVA & sightseeing with horse cart, Nan Myint Tower to see the panoramic view around the beautiful Ava. Sunset at U Bein’s Bridge, Wooden Bridge of 200 years old).Evening back to Mandalay.Overnight at Hotel. . .

Day (09) Mandalay-Bagan By Boat (B)

Estimated 10 hours boat ride
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Jetty and Boat to Bagan. From the 11th to 13th centuries, when Bagan was the capital of Myanmar, the rulers constructed thousands of huge stupas and temples many of which are still standing today on the banks of the Irrawaddy River. Arrival Bagan in the evening. Transfer to hotel.Overnight at hotel.
From April to September, we will travel from Mandalay to Bagan by car.

Day (10) Bagan Sightseeing (B)

Start time: 8:00 AM – End time: 6:00 PM
Breakfast at hotel. The journey begins with a visit to an elevated location with spectacular views over the surrounding plains. This is the perfect introduction to the grandeur and scope of Bagan’s architecture. Next, continue to Ananda Temple, one of the most revered temples in Bagan. Then, head to Myinkaba Village and visit Gubyaukgyi Temple which is noted for the beautiful mural paintings of its inner walls and well-preserved plaster carvings on its exterior wall. Nearby are Manuha and Nanpaya Temples. Although they are relatively small in size, they house impressive Buddha statues and stone work. Later in the afternoon, head to the Irrawaddy River, board a private riverboat, and set off upriver toward KyaukGu U Min. Throughout your Irrawaddy River cruise you will be treated to fabulous scenes of life on the water: fishermen, local ferry boats, riverside villages and views of the Bagan temples. Arrive KyaukGu U Min on the eastern side of the river and take a five-to-ten minute walk to the amazing temple here. Take time to admire the exquisite stone carvings depicting religious figures and flowers on the door. The temple itself is built against the side of cliff. After passing through the temple, head to a cave entrance just behind the main wall. Inside the cave there are several small niches where individuals can practice meditation. Legend states that the cave was built during the 13th century when locals used it to hide from invading Mongols. After exploring KyaukGu U Min, return to the boat for a relaxing cruise back to Bagan (around 1 hour). Upon arrival, transfer back to the hotel for a well-earned evening of relaxation or head out to do some last-minute souvenir shopping.

Day (11) Optional Balloon Experience Over Bagan (B)

Start your morning with an incredible hot-air balloon flight over Bagan’s temple-studded plains. Noshing on pastries and croissants, and sipping coffee and tea as the balloon is inflated. Climb aboard before gently rising above thousands of gilded stupas and earthen temples all back-dropped by the impressive Irrawaddy River. A truly unforgettable and unique experience. (Note: available only from late- October to late-March; all flights weather permitting)
Start time: 8:00 AM – End time: 6:00 PM
This morning, you will be met at your hotel by your guide. From here, you will transfer to a local e-bike vendor to get fitted for your electric scooter for the day. After a few minutes getting acquainted with the bikes, the adventure begins. Beginning with an easy ride along New Bagan’s main road, the leisurely outing will eventually pass through Tharabar Gate, venturing into the archaeological zone. Visit a few Bagan’s main temples like Dhammayangyi, the largest one built by King Narathu in the 12th century, and Ananda, famous for its four Buddha images. Depending on time and interest, there’s the option to explore some lesser known temples around the complex. While riding through the plains, discover a traditional village, where it is possible to learn how local livelihoods have remained unchanged for years, from using earthen kilns to creating pottery to hand-pressing peanuts and sesames for oil. Bagan Around midday, we’ll head to Nyaung U for lunch at Sanon, a social enterprise helping disadvantaged youths enter the hospitality industry. Here, you can learn about Sanon’s story and enjoy a superbly cooked meal in their nice garden.After lunch, return to the hotel for a few hours to relax. In the late afternoon, take a relaxing horse cart ride through the temple area, passing many monuments, farms and traditional houses along the way. Wrap the day up with a stop at an elevated temple and climb to the top of it viewpoint for a spectacular sunset over the plains. Afterwards, return back to the hotel.

Day (12) Bagan-Yangon-Golden Rock (B)

Start time: 8:00 AM – End time: 6:00 PM/Flying hours:35 minutes(estimated)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport. Flight back to Yangon. Arrive Yangon Airport & drive to Kyaikhtiyo ( the mystical pagoda stands on a gold gilded boulder), (over 3615 feet above sea level ) for 184 km. on the way passing the World War II War Cemetery, dedicated to the 2700 Commonwealth forces who died in Myanmar. Afternoon arrive Kimpun Base Camp and the truck will take you to the top of the hill (Golden Rock Pagoda). Sunset at Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock Pagoda), enjoy the panoramic view from top of the mountain. Overnight at hotel.

Day (13) Golden Rock-Yangon Departure (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive back to Yangon. Transfer to airport for Connecting international departure.
