Experience the charming natural and cultural wonders of southern Myanmar.  Begin with visits to one of Myanmar’s most iconic pilgrimage sites, the Golden Rock, multiple caves in Hpa An. Located in the south of Myanmar, explore the undiscovered paradise of Dawei. As a small fishing and beachside town rich in English colonial-era history, discover the town’s iconic sites then get to relax on secluded beaches and enjoy the peaceful tropical ambience of the area.

Day (01) Arrive Yangon

Arrive Yangon, the largest city in Myanmar which is also famous for British Colonial Buildings. Our experienced guide & car will meet and welcome you at the Airport. Today we will bring you to downtown area; City Hall, Independent Monument at the MaharBandula Park near Sule Pagoda, the Court Office and the Customs House, located along the Strand Road where most colonial buildings stand today as colonial heritage sites. Visit world famous dazzling Shwedagon Pagoda. It is the most revered Buddhist temple in Myanmar. Although the origins of the pagoda are unclear, the local legend states that the original structure was built 2500 years ago then renovated several times until taking its current shape in the 15th century. The 8-sided central stupa is 99 meters tall and gilded with gold leaf and is surrounded by 64 smaller stupas. Your guide will show you around the massive complex, explaining why this temple is so revered. Enjoy breathtaking views of the golden stupa from this vantage point. Overnight at hotel peacefully.

Day (02) Yangon-Kyaiktiyo (Golden Rock) by Car (B)

Start time: 9:00 AM – End time: 5:00 PM/ Driving hours (Yangon-Base Camp of Golden Rock): 4 hours (estimate)
Depart Yangon early in the morning for a journey by road to Kyaikhtiyo, the Golden Rock.
Late morning, arrive at Kyaikhtiyo Base Camp (approximately 4 hrs). Travel by local, open-air truck along a winding road (45 minutes) and be dropped off a short 5-minute walk from Golden Rock. The mighty Golden Rock can only usually be accessed by taking a local truck along a winding mountain road to the very top of the hill.
A huge boulder covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff, Golden Rock is one of Myanmar's most important pilgrimage sites. The pagoda here is said to hold a hair of the Buddha, and Buddhists from across the country come here to pay homage.

Day(03) Kyaiktiyo-Hpa-An Sightseeing By car ( B)

Start time: 8:00 AM – End time: 6:00 PM/Driving hours (Golden Rock to HpaAn): 2 hours 30 minutes (estimated)
Breakfast at hotel. Before we get down the basecamp, enjoy the panoramic 360 degree views of the surrounding Mon State Mountains from the summit and take some wonderful photos. Then, we will take the truck down the basecamp and proceed to Hpa An is known as for its famous caves and the most stunning scenery in our country. Along the way you enjoy a scenic drive heading to the less explored Kayin which is surrounded by limestone cliffs, wide lakes and mountain ranges. Start visiting Yathae Pyan cave so called hermit cave. This is a historic and sacred site for many Buddhist pilgrims and devotees who come here to pray and worship it. Afterwards visit to Kawgun Cave; Thousands of Buddha images and carvings line the walls and roof of the cavern which was first recorded in 1893 in an Archaeological survey of India Report. Then, we will take a boat ride for 30 minutes to feel the view around the cave offered a little excitement. And then proceed to the Kyauk Ka Lat Pagoda which is built on layers of natural rock formations. A brief photo-stop at here and you can watch the breathtaking view of the beautiful scenery. Discover Hpa An’s hidden tribes and unique Kayin villages, each with their different beliefs, lifestyles, cultures and traditions. After that enjoy the beautiful sunset view at Shweyin Myaw Pagoda. Transfer to hotel.

Day(04) Hpa-An-Mawlamyine Sightseeing By car ( B)

Start time: 8:30 AM – End time: 6:00 PM/Driving hours (HpaAn to Mawlamyaing): 1 hour 30 minutes (estimated)
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Mawlamyine, the capital of Mon State, is located at the bank of Thanlwin River and a good place for a journey back into British times.
On the way to Mawlamyine, we will visit “U Nar Auk Monastery” passing through KawNat village. This is the magnificent building featuring beautiful woodcarving which was built a century ago by a villager named U Nar Auk, who was famed in those days for his wealth and generosity.
(Remark: As the road to U Nar Auk Monastery is narrow for 24 seaters and above coaches, we need to take Tuk Tuk ride which can fit 4 to 5 pax to reach the monastery for 20 minutes).
After 1 hour drive , arrive at Mawlamyine. Then check in at hotel to take a rest . In the afternoon, proceed to some of old stunning churches like Holy Catholic Church and St. Matthew Church. Continue to “Queen Sein Don Monastery”, in respect to its benefactor Sein Don, wife of venerated late kingdom ruler King Mindon. Edifices and original decorative forms can still be seen throughout the compound. The residing monk has made contributions to its upkeep over the decades as best as they can. From the monastery, we can walk to Kyaikthanlan Pagoda, from where you have terrific views over the city and take photos and enjoy the scenic view for sunset time. Transfer to Hotel.

Day (05) Mawlamyine- Thanbyuzayat- Yae By car ( B)

Start time: 8:00 AM – End time: 6:00 PM/ Driving hours to Yae : 3 hours (estimated)
Breakfast at hotel. Continue to Win Sein Taw Ya Monastery where the world’s largest reclining Buddha Image is seated. On the way, visit Thanbyuzayat war cemetery, which contains 3771 graves of Allied POWs who died building the Burma-Siam railway and Death Railway Museum in Than Phyu Zayat. (Remark: museum is closed on every Mondays and Gazette Holidays). We will visit to Banana Mountain which features a pagoda, a reclining buddha, and a structure with four giant Buddha influenced by Thai Traditional culture. Inside the latter you will find numerous religious chambers. We will continue to Gyaung Yar Village to observe the local ways of life and we will explore culture and amazing scenic view by riding a boat ride in tiny stream. Transfer to Hotel in Yae.

Day (06) Yae- Dawei Sightseeing ( B)

Start Time: 9:00 AM - End Time: 5:30 PM/ Driving Hours From Yae To Dawei: 5 Hours (Estimate)
Breakfast at hotel & drive to Dawei about 5 hours (estimate). After that, arrive Dawei at about 3PM. Visit Lawka Marrazein Pagoda which featuring a 74-metre long statue of the reclining Buddha remains one of the most popular tourist destinations of the city in Dawei. Transfer to hotel. Free & relax at hotel swimming pool.

Day (07)Boat Trip to Moscos Island (Authentic Boat Trip) -Dawei ( B,L)

Start time: 7:00 AM – End time: 7:00 PM
At 7:00 Am, We pick you up at the hotel with air con cars and go to Fishing village. You can stroll for a while taking photos and look the fisherman life. After that we get the boat and we start go to the sea about one hour to the island. You can skip hotel breakfast and we prepare your breakfast on the boat. Enjoy your breakfast on the boat with beautiful sea. We take you with 17 meters long and 2.7-meter-wide wooden boat. This is Dawei Authentic boat trip and we prepare for you to be closer with the local life and local tradition.
Arrive to Island, Jump into the sea from the boat and do your first snorkeling. After snorkeling, the guide and assistant will prepare lunch on the Boat. They make seafood BBQ on the stove and they also prepare rice, Myanmar tealeaf salad, seasonal fruits, cokes and coffee. You can take a rest and relax on the beach and do
mini walk to other side of the bay in the forest. After come back from the other side we go another snorkeling spot with boat and do snorkeling. And the time to come back and we get stunning sunset from the boat in the
sea. After sun goes down we reach to the fishing village and go back to hotel about 7:00 PM.

Day (09) Dawei Sightseeing ( B)

Start time: 9:00 AM – End time: 6:00 PM/ Driving Hours From Dawei to Maung Magan Beach: 45 Minutes (Estimate)
Breakfast at hotel. Today, we will go excursion around Dawei. Dawei, Nest of Dawerian people, is the capital of Thanitaryi region in the south of the Myanm ar. It was alternative governance by Burmese, Mon, Siam due to whom powerful in the past. It is also known as Tavoy in colonial time. Dawei was one of the first cities settled by the British after the first Anglo-Burmese wars in 1824, as result the towns have long history and interesting architecture building of colonial era. It is affecting by the political period of Myanmar. Exploring downtown of colonial building (Morrow Missionary School, Vintage Houses, ABM school, Church) area standing elegantly and beautiful vintage houses which were built around 1950s. Then we will stroll through the main busy market of Dawei where selling variety of products. And we will have opportunity to visit local family run business of clay pottery, how to produce local hand-made pottery. And then visit one of the family owned cashew nut business how workers will process to peel one nut. (The local run business may closed without prior notice). If cashew factory is closed, the guests will be taken to Wood Carving to see the supply chain of the innovation of our vitage houses. In the late afternoon drive to Maung Magan beach and enjoy your sunset in Andman sea. And then drive back to your hotel in Dawei.Overnight at hotel.

Day (10) Dawei-Mawlamyaing ( B)

Start time: 8:00 AM – End time: 5:00 PM /Driving Hour (Dawei to Mawlamyaing) : 6 hours(estimated)
Breakfast at hotel. Today we will drive back to Mawlamyaing. Along the way, you will across a stunning mountain range which divides the Mon and the Tanintharyi State, the hills are dotted with white and golden pagodas. The scenery guarantees a great photo opportunity. Then, you will arrive your hotel in Mawlamyaing.

Day (11) Mawlamyine –Yangon Sightseeing By car (B)

Start time: 8:00 AM – End time: 6:00 PM/ Driving hours (Mawlamyaing to Yangon): 6 hours (estimated)
Breakfast at hotel & drive back to Yangon. Arrive Yangon at about 3 PM. And, enjoy shopping at Bogyoke Market , formerly known as Scott’s Market, where there is time to browse through dozens of stalls and shops. This is Yangon’s best market for handicrafts and other goods, so be sure to pick up some souvenirs (Note: Market is closed on Mondays and public holidays). Finally, transfer to your hotel in Yangon. Overnight at hotel.

Day (12) Yangon Departure ( B)

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to International airport for departure.
