8h00 : In the morning, we start our day tour by visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum ( Outside) , his simple house-on-stilts and the One-Pillar pagoda near Ba Dinh Square, where the most solemn ceremonies of Hanoi take place It is a symbol of gratitude and respect of Vietnamese people for president Ho Chi Minh. It is designed to resemble a lotus blossom, which is a Buddhist symbol of purity, since a lotus blossoms in a muddy pond.
After that, continue to visit Temple of Literature (Vietnamese name is Quoc Tu Giam) - The Vietnam’s first University, which was built in 1070 in honor of Confucius, his followers and Chu Van An, a moral figure in Vietnamese education.
Afternoon, visit Bat Trang ceramic village is a small village situated on a vital location on the bank of the Red River and about 13 km from Hanoi to the East (Its address is in Gia Lam District, Hanoi). Founded in the 14th century, Bat Trang is the most famous and long-standing traditional handicraft villages in Vietnam and in Hanoi in particular.
We take a stroll to watch artisans working with their skillful hands on the crafts as they form, paint and glaze their products, which are then baked for several days in huge kilns. After learning about the basic process of making a pottery product, you will be handed clay and tools to make for yourself one.
One the way back to Ha Noi, we can stop at some ceramic stores along the road in the village to buy or just have a look of colorful and high-quality ceramic objects
